TEAPOTS !

I wish I drank tea. They are just so beautiful. Everywhere I go I find teapots and I fall in love. I might start a collection and hopefully one day learn to drink tea.
Speaking of tea, check out my friends website Tea Secrets.

Weardrobe

Check out my weardrobe !

I've been meaning to make one of these for a while..and finally I have !

The Silkymit

I found this product while looking through an old Cleo with a friend. She mentioned she'd used it before and it was great. So I set off to buy some. They cost me $6.95 from my local chemist but boy was it worth it. My legs have never felt so amazingly smooth, sure it's quite time consuming but the satisfaction once you've finished is far greater than grabbing out the old rusty razor. They come in a pack of 3, I've used one, twice and I think it's still got some use left in it so you definately get enough bang for your buck. But what the hell is it!? It's basically a little sleeve of very fine sandpaper that you move around in circles then around the other way and ALAS! the hair is gone and you have the smoothest legs you have ever felt because they exfoliate and remove hair at the same time. I did mine in my room while playing UNO on my computer so it actually felt like it didn't take too long. So Ladies! Duck over to the Chemist, bust out your favorite movie and get silkymitting.

Project Wardrobe

Like so many people I know, we're renting and the owner has decided they need to sell our house. This has happened before and we can't be bothered to put up with it so we're moving. The house that we're looking at is pretty and big..with no wardrobes! I've been searching ebay until the wee hours of the morning looking for furniture and the like. Then an idea popped into my head. Lockers. The ones that line the hallways of American Highschools (apparently). I've bought them..a block of 4 for $21.48 ! But they are grubby and rusty as hell so here comes the lazy creative side of myself. I'm thinking about doing them up to look like they've just been imported from a teen movie. Each locker will be decorated in a different way as if they were owned by different people. Inside, the doors will be lined with posters, knick knacks, love notes..anything I can think of that suits that Thelma. It kinda overlaps with my Major Works a bit haha..

this is them..aren't they beautiful !

On another note:
I like a girl ! A real female girl !

palace of hoes

I've recently stumbled across a few fashion bloggers when researching for my Major Works. They've inspired me to actually think about what I throw on before I leave the house.

NOTE: Thanks to Alex for the title.

Surviving on 2 hours sleep

alright so I've been awake since 7am friday night, bar 8-10am on saturday morning, it is not 2:26am on Sunday.
Why?
because I was stuck in an antique bed with 5 other people at a video game themed party from 2am until 7am.
Tetris costume = epic fail
so I went as Lara Croft thanks you a half an hour shopping hunt on friday afternoon.
A few words/sentences/statements:
"It's harvesting time in Africa"
King Cup
"Pancakes"
"Come on Ilene"
"Si Senor"
Mexican Thrust
Power Thrust
to be continued..

Then today I spent most of it with the triangle.
Just chillin.
We went to see James and his Mum in Les Mis
and oh my god!
amazing!
Louise (James' Mum) is fucking amazing as Madame T!!
I fell in love

Damn you John Green!

So today started off as one of those days when nothing was going right.
I slept through my alarm due to the fact that I had only just fallen asleep at 4am.
Then I eventually got up at about 11:30am after a freaky dream about being possessed then possessing someone else and slitting throats and..needless to say I was a bit shaken up.
I decided I should probably go to school and could make it before lunch.
but of course today had to be the day when absolutely none of my clothes looked right and pretty much hated me.
So I grabbed 'Looking for Alaska' by John Green and curled up under my desk..because I couldn't be bothered to climb the 6 stairs to my bed..I really should've thought about that before buying a loft bed.
I had every intention of reading for a bit til I felt better then getting up and doing something productive, like working on my Major Work or continuing making my tetris costume..
but no, John Green just has to write amazingly addictive books.
aaaaaand I totes get to meet him soon..*insert fangirl scream here*

Which Tetris piece?

So I´m going to a ´video game´ theme party and I´m wanting to go as a tetris block but can´t decide which one?
I´ll probably be making it out of foam and paint so I can still move around and function normally..
Any suggestion on which one?

Monks, Slurpys and Tea Bags.

I have started this blog many, many times and can't work out a way to not sound like 12 year old girl recounting her day to her fat, supre decked friends with names like courtney and hannah [offence is optional]. So I shall do this in point form in order of events.
  • Got to school on time!
  • Got angry because I left my camera battery at home after charging it all night
  • Bus time!
  • Bryce recieved his first phone call from a man talking about a gum tree and an apartment
  • Monks gave us doo-da's to hang on our phones..what groovy groovy monks
  • Buuuuurwood shopping
  • Vinnies
  • 7/11 Slurpys..which are the bomb diggity
  • Subway - made a page in my journal using the slurpys
  • We discover that Bryce's phone number had been put on an ad for a bar tending job on gumtree.com therefor resulting in about 40 calls from people wanting said job
  • Lit some candles, listened to a cute monk with a lisp
  • Urinated in the monestry!
  • Bryce discovers a swastika on a table and decides they're going to kill us all..but then he recieves a few more phone calls = P
  • Molly made an angry page in my journal
  • Ferrar and Molly contributed torn up secrets to the envelope in my journal
  • Nugget threw a box at Jack's head out the window and missed..epic fail
  • Home
  • Tea bagged my journal..giggity

Covered

Thelma has a covered Journal!
Done with a piece of old tie dyed fabric from year 10, one of my candy resin magnets and a hot glue gun. I'm interested to see how long the heart will last and how it will come to it's end. Stay tuned..

Today our class is going on an excursion to a Tibetan Buddhism temple. So I'm hoping to collect random things and take heaps of photos and maybe even get a group page going.

Bloody Steiner children.

And so it begins..

Today I somehow stumbled across a website about this book called..'Wreck This Journal'. It's a journal designed to be wrecked..hence the name. I fell in love with the idea of 'Creative Destruction', of just letting loose and going with whatever creative instinct I had no matter how shit. So after school I drove up to Towers in my shaggin' waggin' and bought a black book from Smiggle. Now there is the actual book out there..but

1. I live in Sydney..so I'm guessing it would be hard to find in a book shop

2. I'm impatient and a 'spur-of-the-moment' kind of gal
